Perfect Go-To Green Smoothie.

Here is a quick and easy to-go green smoothie for you and your family!

 

  • 1-2 Frozen bananas
  • 1 handful of baby spinach
  • 1 handful of green curly kale (leafy part only)
  • 1 green apple
  • Squeeze of lemon juice
  • ½ tsp of cinnamon (more or less to taste)
  • 1 cup of water (adjust to desired consistency)

 

You most definitely can add hemp hearts or hemp protein powder if you would like this smoothie for breakfast.

Subbing in apple sauce or apple juice is a great option at times if you want to switch it up!

It’s always good to have a stash of frozen bananas in the freezer but if you don’t, you can throw in a couple fresh bananas and a few ice cubes instead.

Finally, if bananas aren’t your thing, cucumber or zucchini work well instead. You just might have to increase the apple to balance out the sweetness.
